Ozarks Community Hospital in Springfield, MO has an immediate opening for a full-time Referral Coordinator within our Evergreen Pain Clinic.

Job Summary: Under the direction of the Clinic Manager, receives patient referrals from providers or nursing personnel, ascertains their needs. Referral is processed and documented timely and appropriately. Providers and staff and notified that referral has been completed.
The most significant duties have been included in this description. This does not preclude the assignment of occasional additional or developmental duties. The Hospital/Clinic reserves the right to modify this job description as needed to accurately reflect duties assigned.
Requirements:
● High school diploma or equivalent.
● Minimum of one (1) year’s medical office experience preferred.
● Previous experience with health insurance and patient billing preferred.
● MA III/LPN certification/license preferred.
● Completion of medical terminology course or equivalent experience preferred.
