Ozarks Community Hospital in Springfield, MO has an immediate opening for a full-time Credentialing Specialist.

Job Summary: The Medical Staff Assistant works with Medical Staff Coordinator to perform medical staff credentialing; assist with credentialing function with Medicare and Medicaid. Assists with maintaining physician files, and appointment and reappointment processes. Assists with tracking organization wide vendor contracts. Performs related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year’s medical office experience preferred.
  • Previous experience or knowledge of medical staff credentialing preferred.
