Ozarks Community Hospital in Webb City, MO has an immediate opening for a full-time Courier/Warehouse Assistant.

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for transporting items to and from the hospital, warehouse, and off site clinic locations for various departments. Performs and provides customer service; communicates with departments about transporting as well as receiving of information.

This position will also work in warehouse settings where they are responsible for implementing strategic decisions that govern the need for space apart from loading and unloading freight and providing direct customer services. This position requires an individual to be extremely dexterous where physical and mental work is concerned as warehouse associates may be required to operate forklifts and perform basic mathematical calculations.

Responsible for planning, organizing and directing the activities associated with coordinating and maintaining sound and accurate Warehouse physical on-hand inventory. This position is responsible for supplying medical and non-medical supplies. Must have customer service skills and good communication. Assists the Administrative team and Superiors to direct, administer and coordinate the activities of the hospital in support of policies, goals and objectives by performing duties as requested for the betterment of the organization. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklift, box cutters and tape dispensers.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License required. This position may require a Motor Vehicle Driving Record Background Check to be completed during the onboarding new hire process and throughout employment.
  • Warehouse, supply and or materials management experience preferred.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with all levels of management.
  • Forklift Certification required.
