Ozarks Community Hospital in Springfield, MO has an immediate opening for a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) within our Long Term Care department.

Job Summary: Provides direct and indirect patient care in partnering regional long term care facilities. Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care; meets the communication needs of patient and family; provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the scope of licensure. Maintains regulatory requirements, nursing and facility policies, procedures and standards. Communicates with physicians and team members about patient's clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current LPN/LVN licensure in the State of Missouri.
- Current BLS certification upon hire or BLS certification must be obtained during orientation period or at next available scheduled class. Throughout employment, current BLS certification must be maintained by renewal during renewal period or at next available scheduled class.
- Successful completion of Telemetry course preferred.
As a condition of employment, all employees of OCH must receive the complete dosing regimen of one of the COVID-19 vaccines currently authorized by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
