Job Summary: Responsible for independently, or under the direct supervision of a physician, performs radiology procedures consistent with the established standard of medical care in radiology. Follows policies and protocols using established anatomical positioning and physiology to produce optimum images while keeping patient welfare, confidentiality and comfort a top priority. Independently obtaining and registering specimens. The Tech must demonstrate skills in obtaining specimens from all age groups serviced utilizing a variety of blood collection devices and safety devices.
- Certified by the State of Arkansas to practice and administer radiation.
- Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
