Ozarks Community Hospital in Gravette, AR has an immediate opening for a full-time HR Assistant within our Human Resources Department.

Ozarks Community Hospital takes great pride in providing patients accredited Patient-Centered Medical Homes through a dozen rural health clinics and as part of a broader range of specialty services located in its two provider-based clinics in Gravette, Arkansas and Springfield, Missouri. Specialty clinic services include Pediatrics, Women’s Health, Diabetes Care, Hepatitis C, Urology, Geriatrics, Pain Management, and the FLAG (Fatty Liver and Goals) Clinic.

Job Summary: Responsible for performing various administrative, clerical, and Human Resources duties. Responsible for operational and technical Human Resources duties to include: processing employment applications and new hires, assisting Managers, employees, patients and visitors,, maintaining confidential personnel files, answering telephones, verifying employment status, assisting with benefits and all other duties listed below. Coordinates with HR Specialist on benefits issues.

Understands and follows the organization's policies, procedures and standards. Is an independent worker, meeting the day-to-day needs of administration. Participates in the department's performance improvement activities as designated.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in business preferred.
  • Office/ Secretarial training preferred.
  • Data entry and word processing experience beyond entry level preferred.
