Ozarks Community Hospital in Gravette, AR has an immediate opening for a PRN HIM Consultant.

Job Summary: Responsible for successful maintenance of patient records and organizational and administrative operation of the Health Information Management Department. Serves as resource for faculty regarding medical record content and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification as a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) from an accredited school.
  • Knowledge of HFAP standards and state regulations for hospitals and outpatient clinics.
  • 5+ years' experience is preferred.
