Ozarks Community Hospital in Springfield, MO has an immediate opening for a part-time or full-time Physician Assistant within our Evergreen Clinic.

Job Summary:
Responsible for providing primary healthcare to patients and families, focusing on health maintenance, disease prevention, patient education and counseling. Works under direct supervision of a physician following established guidelines as required and within established scope of practice.
The most significant duties have been included in this description. This does not preclude the assignment of occasional additional or developmental duties. The Hospital/Clinic reserves the right to modify this job description as needed to accurately reflect duties assigned.
Requirements:
● Current Physician Assistant License.
● Masters Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
● Current BLS certification upon hire or BLS certification must be obtained during orientation period or at next available scheduled class. Throughout employment, current BLS certification must be maintained by renewal during renewal period or at next available scheduled class.
● Current ACLS Certification preferred in Clinic Setting.
● Current PALS Certification preferred in Clinic Setting.
As a condition of employment, all employees of OCH must receive the complete dosing regimen of one of the COVID-19 vaccines currently authorized by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
