Ozarks Community Hospital in Gravette, Arkansas has an immediate opening for a full-time Director of Surgical Services within our Outpatient Surgery Department. This is a Monday – Friday position.

Job Summary: The Director of Surgical Services will work with anesthesiologists, surgical nurses, technicians, surgeon and other surgical specialists. The Surgery team provides compassionate care to every patient. The department provides general, orthopedic, ENT, dental, podiatry and plastic surgery.

The Director of Surgical Services will provide a nurturing environment for the Surgical Services team. The Nurse Director of Surgical Services will be responsible for quality of care provided by the nurses and will direct the nurses in a business unit while upholds standards of patient care. The Nurse Director of Surgery will report to the Chief Nursing Officer and will collaborate with other department directors.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Registered Nurse Licensure for the state of Arkansas or compact licensure.
  • Three (3) or more years of previous experience in all aspects of Surgical Services and a minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience.
  • ACLS and PALS certification, preferred.
