Ozarks Community Hospital in Gravette, AR has an immediate opening for a full-time Admissions Supervisor within our Admitting Department.

Job Summary: Responsible for helping staff in all aspects of the Admitting Department, Outpatient Registration and the Emergency Department Registration areas.  Ensures efficient and orderly admission of inpatients and admitting process of individuals who have hospital-based outpatient testing or procedures.  Maintains open communication with the Nursing Supervisor, Business Office, Environmental Services, Medical Records, Security, Emergency Department and Administration.  Responsible for running reports requested by any department, state and federal hospital departments.  Will be first point of contact for any and all admissions department issues.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work with physicians in a collaborative manner.
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, third party payers.
