Job Summary: Independently, or under the direct supervision of a physician, performs radiology/CT procedures consistent with the established standard of medical care in radiology, following policies and protocols using established anatomical positioning and physiology to produce optimum images, while keeping patient welfare, confidentiality and comfort a top priority. JOB SUMMARY: Nurse Anesthetists work in a team approach to the preparation of patients for anesthesia, its administration, and the post-operative care for adults and children at Ozarks Community Hospital.The scope of practice includes the following responsibilities:Performance of pre-operative consultation and evaluation • Selecting an anesthetic agent and initiating inhalation and IV anesthesia in consult with the attending anesthesiologist • Maintaining and monitoring anesthesia • Supporting life functions during the induction and period of anesthesia • Recognizing abnormal patient responses to anesthesia or to any adjunctive medication or other form of therapy and taking corrective action along with the anesthesiologist • The candidate must be able to work independently, have a team-oriented attitude, and enjoy a fast paced environment. Specimen Processor/Phlebotomist Full-Time Gravette
Ozarks Community Hospital in Gravette, Arkansas has an immediate opening for a Specimen Processor/Phlebotomist. Job Summary: Under direction of the Laboratory Manager and technical direction of the Pathologist, the Specimen Processor/Lab Assistant is responsible for independently obtaining and registering specimens and delivering results to providers in the hospital laboratory and contributing to general operation of the laboratory. The Specimen Processor/Lab Assistant must demonstrate skills in obtaining specimens from all age groups serviced utilizing a variety of blood collection devices and safety devices. He/she must also demonstrate good clerical skills and computer skills in data entry and communications skills with patients, coworkers, and other departments. This position is also responsible for specimen processing of samples sent to approved reference labs and other lab departments. Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent • A certificate in Phlebotomy from an accredited phlebotomy course or Certified Office Laboratory Technician, or Patient Care Technician (PCT) is preferred. On the job training is also acceptable. • 0-1 year experience. • Current CPR certification approved by the American Heart Association upon hire or must be obtained at the next available scheduled class. • Must have excellent customer service and communication skills; medical terminology background preferred.
