Carthage, Mo. – Ozarks Community Hospital (OCH) announces a new location will open in the Carthage community on October 1. The new office, located at 2425 Fairlawn Ave, will include internal medicine providers Heath Dillard, MD, FACP, and Delores Vandergrift, NP-C.
The clinic will be open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Fridays from 8 a.m. to noon. It will include three additional staff members.

OCH currently operates a clinic in Webb City, Mo. known as the OCH Jasper County Clinic. The Carthage clinic will be known as OCH Jasper County Clinic Carthage Campus. Dr. Dillard is board certified in internal medicine. He received his education and training from the University of Texas in San Antonio. Dr. Dillard’s medical background includes serving as a general medical officer and battalion surgeon. In 2001, he was granted rank as lieutenant commander. Since then, he has spent the majority of his career in the Carthage and Joplin areas serving adult and geriatric needs. Delores Vandergrift, NP-C received her education from the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Medicine and has more than 30 years of experience in the medical field.
The OCH health system encompasses two hospitals and 15 clinics located throughout southwest Missouri and northwest Arkansas. The hospital provides a wide range of healthcare services including primary care, women’s health, outpatient services, a 24/7 emergency room and additional specialists.
